DAKA Sport offers complex price combinations in real-time across all channels

In collaboration with tritonX, DAKA Sport has recently implemented the Promotion Engine. In the fast-changing retail landscape, consumers are present across many channels (touchpoints). To deliver the same complex promotional offers in real-time across all these channels, a central ‘Promotion Engine’ has been implemented. tritonX facilitates this solution, allowing integration partners to connect.

“The Promotion Engine is used at DAKA Sport to calculate current prices valid for specific product combinations. For example, set prices, buy 2 get 1 free, stackable discounts, free items with purchase, etc. By linking the checkout, webshop, and other relevant touchpoints to this engine, we can provide a 100% omnichannel experience for our customers. The checkout calls this engine after scanning the products, and in the e-commerce environment, it is done from the shopping cart. No hassle with complex interfaces, just a reliable and solid API connection to tritonX,” says Arno Vink, E-commerce Manager at DAKA Sport.
