There’s no getting away from it these days: online findability. And we don’t mean finding your company on page 16 of Google. No, a nice spot in Google Ads would be nice. We did notice during the crisis of last year that it is a bitter pill if you can only be found offline. But how do you ensure that you use your online Ads in the right way? And how can your collected email addresses help?
tritonX and online advertising
Did you know that tritonX is the ideal tool to optimize your online advertising? You can easily set up your ads and target an effective selection. That way you can be sure that your ad will be visible to people who are really interested and already know about your organization. You can also choose to target potential new customers who, according to Google or Facebook, have a lot in common with your current customer group.
Applying email addresses within advertisements
Imagine, you have managed to collect quite a few email addresses from your customers or potential customers, then you would like to do something with this. The best way to do this is by using the Marketing Module. You can very easily compose a segment with the desired target group or brand. You can also choose a selection over a desired period. Through marketing campaigns you can create an advertising campaign. This campaign is then easily used through Google Ads and/or Facebook.
How does this work in practice?
You have received a new collection of brand X in your store. You would like to set up an advertisement around this collection. You have the option of creating a segment within tritonX. For example, you could choose customers who have bought an item of brand X in the last 12 months. The email addresses of this specific customer group are used to ensure that the ad is targeted to these customers.
Coming Soon: Link Facebook/Google
Soon a Facebook/Google link will go live from tritonX! This new feature will allow you to automatically synchronize specific tritonX segments with Google and Facebook. This is done through an email hash. This allows Google and Facebook to link to individuals, without having to transmit personal data. The advantage is that you can exclude certain customer groups or target them. For example, exclude customers who have recently made a purchase or target look-a-likes customer segments. This can save you money as well as generate revenue.
What is e-mail hash?
With an email hash, the computer creates an unique serial number calculated from the content of an email address. You can actually think of it as a kind of converter. This allows data such as e-mail addresses to be forwarded safely without the possibility of fraud. It also ensures that each e-mail address is unique. In the past it was mainly used as a security feature, but nowadays we also see it becoming more popular as a marketing tool.
