tritonX is a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and thus fulfills an important role in the IT architecture of retailers who work with an omnichannel strategy. tritonX centralizes customer data and therefore also makes use of big data. From a technical point of view, tritonX makes it possible to make use of customer data on all touch points in the omnichannel strategy in real-time. At the same time, the real time data of tritonX is used in the marketing strategy, on the shop floor and also by the customer himself.
Big data is a very fast developing technique and the current market is also very much in flux. We could even say that rapid technological developments are the main driver of market developments in the field of big data. This means that further development is a crucial part of the strategy for tritonX. To ensure that the further developments of tritonX take place at the right points, the Special Interest Group (SIG) was created by us.
Special Interest Group
The SIG is a user group of retailers with a growth strategy in which tritonX plays an important role, because they put the customer first. We offer this user group the opportunity to participate in the development of new functionalities for tritonX, but they also have a role as a catalyst for further development. This approach has been successful in a short time. The ambition is to implement a new module or functionality every six months.
So members of the SIG have a lot of say in the development of new modules for tritonX. This also requires commitment from the retailers in order to achieve the best possible result together, which is in line with the wishes of the market. The members are therefore the leading group of tritonX users and are prepared to invest in the further development of tritonX.
A brainstorming session is organized with the SIG every six months. This starts with the aim of tritonX and a theme on which further developments can be based. In this brainstorming session, clear wishes and preconditions are retrieved from the SIG. By means of a voting round, all wishes are scored from 1-5 in order to prioritize the further development. The next step is then to convert the wishes with the highest score into the desired functionality. When the development process starts, a number of steps are followed, which also involve regular contact with the group.
